Sword Styles are a special that give the user additional powers. They were released in UPDATE 10. Sword Style abilities require the user to equip their sword in order to use it. Sword Styles can be activated by pressing whichever number button is bound under specials for PC Players or pressing the [SWORD STYLES] button centered at the top of the screen for mobile players. Sword Styles cannot be active while Stands, Kagunes, Fruits, Quirks, Grimoires, Bloodlines, Armaments, Pyrokinesis, or Titans are active.

Trivia

• Before the Tournaments Update, the rarity for Sword Styles were 61.98% for Water Style, 37.19% for Thunder Style and 0.82% for Flame Style.
• Sword Styles are from the popular anime/manga Demon Slayer by Koyoharu Gotouge.
• The scaling for all Sword Styles were changed, Water and Thunder being Chakra before the Tournaments Update, and Flame being Sword Skill before the Tournaments Update. Now all Sword Styles' Z move scales with Strength, X with Chakra, and C with Sword Skill.
• Sword Styles and Fruits are the only Specials which did not get renamed in Update 14.6
