Introduction
When you first start the game, you will find yourself in a "spawn" building. In the building, there is a map detailing the locations of the training areas, which advance your training power and speed significantly. You will also see 2 NPCs: one named Boom (who is one of the quest NPCs), and another named Wukong. Lastly, you will see 4 icons at the bottom of the screen. These are the icons for strength, durability, chakra, and sword skill respectively.
Strength, durability, chakra, sword skill icons
If you press the corresponding number and left-click (with the exclusion of chakra, where you do NOT have to left click), this is your "basic" training without the use of "training spots". Training Spots are certain places that you can train in that have a certain "multiplier" that will stack with your own multiplier. In order to gain the effect of training spots, you must use its basic training action in it, with the exception of durability, which only requires you to stay in the spot.
Please note that the sword does NOT have any training areas since the swords already have multipliers.
Terminology & the Menu
Before we go further into the game, there are certain terms that must be known. A "tick" is how frequently you gain a stat (while training) or the number of hits a skill has. A "multiplier" multiplies the stat gain per tick by its worth. For example, if you train strength for a stat gain of 32 per tick, a multiplier of x2 would double it into a stat gain of 64 per tick. A "damage multiplier" has the same concept as a regular multiplier, but boosts the damage of skills rather than boosting training. With the topic of multipliers done, we will now move on to an explanation of the menu.
The menu consists of eight different icons on the left side of the screen: a green person, a group of three people, a red shopping basket, an orange gear, a white crown, a red face, two purple people, and a cyan bird (better known as the Twitter icon). The "green person" is arguably the most important part of the menu. Upon clicking it, you are presented with 7 sub-categories: Auras, Stats, Powers, Champions, Quests, Swords, and Specials.
Auras
The "Auras" sub-category contains all the auras the player currently possesses. Pressing the blue "Equip" button under an aura causes the player to equip said aura. Equipping another aura without unequipping the previous one will automatically unequip the former.
Stats
Upon selecting “Stats”, a menu of all of your stats appears. The six main stats in-game are Strength, Durability, Chakra, Sword, Agility, and Speed. Above them is an icon of a gold coin (Which is "Yen”, one of the two in-game currencies), your Total Power (the sum of ALL of your stats excluding Agility and Speed, also often referred to as “TP” - this stat can be seen as a number above your avatar as well as your “Class”), your yen gain per minute (determined by Class), and the amount of boost time left that you currently have.
- Strength increases the damage of your punch and Strength Powers. You can train this stat by punching with your fist.
- Durability increases your resistance when taking damage and the damage of certain Durability Powers. You can train this stat by doing pushups/ handstands (Premium Pass required) or staying near a Durability training spot.
- Chakra increases the damage of your Chakra Powers. You can train this stat by meditating or charging up (Premium Pass required)
- Sword increases the damage of your Sword Slash and Sword Skill Powers. You can train this stat by swinging your sword.
- Agility increases your jump height. You can train this stat by jumping.
- Speed increases your speed. You can train this stat by running.
NOTE: A boost can be obtained by purchasing it in the Store (the red shopping cart). Boosts still run even when you’re offline (not in-game). Additionally, on rare occurrences server boosts can be obtained as a boss drop.
In the "Stats" menu, each individual stat has its own icon, two numbers, and a green “Upgrade” button. The left number is your total stat, while the right number is your multiplier. The Upgrade button doubles your multiplier every time you press it in return for the amount of yen stated in the square brackets. The current max multiplier is 2.25q.
Powers
The third sub-category is “Powers”. You can unlock powers by completing quests, or through boss battles (please refer to Bosses). Powers can be used to protect yourself or deal damage. Powers deal greater damage than a basic attack (which is determined through their damage multiplier). Most powers have a “scale factor”, which is the stat that the power is based on. Provided that you train the stat that the scale factor is based on, the attack gets stronger. In this sub-category, you can select keys to bind your obtained powers to.
Champions
The “Champions” sub-category shows you all of your champions in the box, a game pass offer to the right of the menu, and an empty space at the bottom. If you click on "View" under any champion, you can see their skill description, and three buttons: The blue button labelled "Summon/Unsummon" allows you to summon/unsummon the respective champion, the orange button labelled "Lock/Unlock" allows you to lock the champion, preventing you from accidentally selling it, and the red button labelled "Sell" lets you sell the champion for a varied amount of Chikara Shards depending on their rarity. See Champions for more. At the top left corner is a button labelled "Trade", which allows you to send trade requests for other players. See Trades for more information on that.
Swords
The “Swords” sub-category contains all of the swords you currently possess and their respective multipliers. Note that when you receive a new sword as a reward from a quest, it is NOT equipped automatically, so you must manually go to the menu and press the Equip button to use it. You can also equip and change your sword skin by pressing the top left button and equipping the desired sword skin.
Specials
The “Specials” sub-category lists all of your current specials and all of their moves and info. They are special powers that can be obtained by using Chikara Shards, which is the only other currency in the game besides yen. Chikara Shards can be gained through only four means: clicking on golden crates that are scattered throughout the map, gaining the 5 Chikara Shards that are gained per minute, fighting bosses, or winning tournament matches. Please see each Dimension page for its locations of Chikara Shard crates.
Quests
The “Quests” sub-category shows you all of your ongoing quests, your current progress for each of them, and their rewards. You will be able to receive quests from quest NPCs. Further information on all quests in the game can be found in Quests.
Groups
This menu is accessed by clicking on the "group of three people" icon. The Groups menu shows two sections: Other Players and Group Information. Under "Other Players" are all the pictures and names of every player in your current server, who you can invite into your group (you must create a group first). Under "Group Information" are two buttons: "Create Group" and "Enable/Disable Invites", and a section below them labeled "Recent Invites". The "Recent Invites" section lists out all the group invites you received from other players, which you can choose to accept or decline. Clicking on "Enable/Disable Invites" allows you to enable or disable yourself from receiving group invites.
Clicking on "Create Group" allows you to create a group, with you acting as the group leader, and allows you to invite up to 4 more players into your group before reaching the maximum capacity; the "Enable/Disable Invites" button is also replaced by a button labeled "Abandon Group", which allows you to leave the group, the "Recent Invites" section is also relabeled as "Members" and now shows the names of all the members in your group. You can not damage anyone in your group and no one in your group can damage you.
Store
The store is accessed by clicking on the "red shopping basket" icon. In the store, there are six categories of products that are all bought with Robux: Yen, Boosts, Gamepasses, Offers, Chikara, and Fruits. The seventh category, Auras's products can be bought with Chikara Shards.
Gifting
The Gifting Menu
As of UPDATE 13, players can gift other players Yen, Boosts, or Chikara with their own Robux. After clicking a product in the Yen, Boosts, or Chikara category, the user is prompted the option of either it for themselves, or gifting it to others. If the user chooses to gift the item, they are shown a list of all the players in the server. By clicking on the name of the respective player they wish to gift to, and then paying the required amount of Robux, the gifted player will receive the product. If the person being gifted leaves during the transaction, the product will go to the player who bought it.

The Offers category contains three Specials or Champions that can be bought with Robux or Chikara Shards. Offers refresh 8 PM EST every day. For information on the prices of offers, please check the Specials pages and the Champions page.

Fighting Pass
Fighting Pass Menu
The Fighting Pass menu can be accessed by clicking on the "white crown" icon. Here, you can check your progress in the Fighting Pass. Separated by the purple progress line in the middle, the rewards on the left side can be obtained whether you bought Premium Pass or not, while rewards on the right side can only be obtained if you bought the Premium Pass. The Premium Pass generally has better things than the normal pass, but costs 40k Chikara Shards, and can be bought by clicking the box at the bottom right of the menu. The box at the bottom left of the menu that is labelled "Skip Tier" allows you to skip a tier and gain the skipped tier's rewards without obtaining the required XP (which are earned through Daily Quests), this costs 150 Robux. The top left box leads you to your Inventory, where you can equip animations and the Snakeman Fruit if you remove it.
By clicking "Select" under a reward, its details will appear on the right-hand side of the menu, displaying a description of the reward and the status of it in the bottom box, which shows the needed XP to unlock it and your current amount of XP. For more information on Fighting Pass rewards, visit Fighting Pass.
Friends
The friends menu can be accessed by clicking on the "two purple people" icon. Here, you can find a list of your friends who are currently playing Anime Fighting Simulator, with the dimension they're currently in written below their image, who you can then choose to join. You cannot join your friend's server if it either reached maximum occupancy, or is private.
Recent Boss Results
The Recent Boss Results menu can be accessed by clicking on the "red face" icon. Here, you can check your results from your last boss battle. The "Yen Earned" section displays the amount of Yen you earned from defeating the boss, and the "Chikara Earned" section displays the amount of Chikara Shards you earned from defeating the boss, both of which are scaled depending on your class; the "Unlocked Power" section shows whether or not you unlocked any of the powers dropped by the boss; the "Personal Results" section displays the total amount of damage you dealt to the boss (which is determined by the number of hits and damage for each hit), the total amount of hits you dealt, the true damage you dealt (your stats factored in), and your status by the end of the battle; the "General Results" section displays the time left when the battle ended, the tier number of the boss, the boss's total health, and the status of the boss by the end of the battle.
Codes
The codes menu can be accessed by clicking on the Twitter icon. In the text box that says "CODE", you can type in/paste a code released by the game developers (which can be found here), then press the green button labeled "ENTER" to claim your reward. The codes are not case-sensitive but if you add a space after the code, the code will not work.
Settings
The settings can be accessed by clicking on the "orange gear" icon. In the settings, you can toggle Music, Screen Shake, Water Running (if you have the power), Conceal Power (if you have the game pass), and your ability to receive trade requests. You can also change your walk speed and jump power here, either decreasing or increase it to your preference. The currently playing music's name can also be found in the Music row. While in the Tournament Dimension, an additional setting called AFK will appear in the settings, which you can toggle to enable or disable yourself from joining tournament games while in the dimension.
Classes
As you get stronger in the game, you are able to upgrade your class. Every upgrade gives you a new class title, and increases your yen per minute (which allows you to afford more expensive upgrades to your multipliers). In order to upgrade your class, you MUST have the required stats for it and enough yen. There are currently twenty-two Classes in the game.
The NPC that you can upgrade classes at is Wukong. Please note that if you upgrade your class, it does NOT reset your stats. Wukong can be found inside the spawn building for every dimension.
Camera Options (Mobile)
As you play you might notice a "lock" symbol near your training icons, If you tap this button it will keep your camera behind your player, and if you turn your character faces that direction. You can tell if it is active by 1. Whether or not the lock symbol is blue or if it is white. 2. if your camera will not move. (On desktop, this icon will allow you to shift your camera view by only scrolling/moving your mouse, rather than right-clicking and scrolling). This acts the same as Shift Lock on a PC.
